As for the game itself… it’s essentially the exact same gameplay as Wizardry 1 and 2 - no innovations whatsoever. You just get a new dungeon map (6 levels) and some new mobs and related graphics.

It’s very punishing in the early game. I had a few characters that were one-shot… nothing you can do about it. Another annoying part of the game is you cannot create new characters. You have to import then from Wizardry 1 and 2… which gets real annoying when you have to replace multiple characters due to deaths.

I used to love this game! Would spend hours and hours playing it! Pretty much wasted all my middle school winters playing this. Awesome! Memory Lane.

having trouble with wizardry 2 and 3

installing seems fine, but when running from dosbox I get a black screen for a bit then it logs me out completely

Does anyone know how to fix this

Wizardry 1 works fine.

You have played one wizardry, you have played them all. Each installment is really little more then a new set of maps, a slightly different scenario and slightly adjusted game mechanics.

I'm not knocking the series, but if you played 1 and 2, there is nothing new here.
