Sure didn't it's recorded entering stats or being connected to a real device

Spent many hours playing this game. I would go through all of the stats for all the players in the NFL and enter them in the game to simulate. Long before Madden.

I love all the SSI games. Computer Baseball was also on AppleII. I have all the Apple games and can play on my AppleII GS. So you may want to add the GS as platforms for SSI games...

True and false. The IBM PC was release in 1981 (August) and true, it's the apple version, the game was never released for dos

I played this game like a maniac when I was 10 years old in the late 80's. It's hugely outdated now I guess but it gave me lots of hours of fun. At the time even I had no idea this game was that old.

This isn't a DOS game. It's for the Apple IIe. Besides the IBM-PC wasn't commercially released until 1982.

Commodore 64 Version

Apple II Version

One of Dani Bunten's early classics, Computer Quarterback, published in 1979, in Brian Moriarty's tribute, "was originally designed to support exactly two players.

It was ported to Apple BASIC from a mini-computer simulation written in Fortran. In an amusing reversal of recent industry practice, it was the single-player mode that was reluctantly added at the last minute at the request of the publisher, SSI." A fun game that was ahead of its time
