...just realized -d is for Amstrad PCs and isn't compatible with emulated mouse clicks in dosbox-pure, so better choice is the IBM/PS2: vgalemm2.exe -v -p (also the High-Perf-PCs variant worked fine too: vgalemm2.exe -v -o)

if you get bad graphics just change your dosbox video emulation from svga to plain vga, also if you want to run it without dos prompts use vgalemm2.exe -v -d
