THATGUY and DUDEEDDIE are right. You'll need to download Daemon Tools Lite and ScumVM. Then follow their instructions:
To get this game to work, first download the ISO file. Next you will need to extract the files into a new folder. After that, click into the file, then into the "game" file" Now move the following into a NEW folder, be sure to remember where this folder is.

There will be two of each of the files listed above, choose the bigger of the two for each one (should be the top listed file)
Next you need to download ScummVM. You can google search and download the program. Once completed, Open ScummVM and you will see "Add Game". Click on this. It will open up your file browser, find the folder that you saved the above mentioned files into and click on it (do not double click) then click "choose". This will then bring up another screen with the game info, save this and you will be able to Start the game from the ScummVM menu.
Hope this helps. (I literally just got done playing a game right before writing this up. Huge throwback to the early 2000s)
You can also do the same with any of the other backyard sports games, the only one I have not had work completely is football, it crashes when I try to start a game.

So the download link says Iso but it's not an ISO and to make it one you need to do a bunch of tech crap
Can some one just upload a proper file instead lol, Not trying to learn how to make virtual drives to play a back yard baseball game from 2001.

I just installed "WinCDEmu-4.1.exe" on my Windows 10 laptop.
Right Clicked on the downloaded "Backyard-Baseball-2001_Win_EN.zip" and selected "Extract All..."
Right clicked on the "BY Baseball 2001.cue" file and selected "Select drive letter & mount".
Then run the "Autorun.exe" from the mounted CD.
Install the game and play.
Runs flawlessly.

anyway some one can just load the scrummvr ready version. I have tried 100 different ways to open this damn .bin file.

I extracted the bin and cue files, and used scrumm but nothing happened - followed all instructions and didn't work - who has the solution?

The instructions are a lie. Only two files come up that say .bin and .cue. Trash

For those who can't open the game, use daemon tools lite, BUT instead of using a virtual CD like in most ISO games, USE A VIRTUAL DRIVE! thats what opens the ".BIN" files, afterwards just follow user "THATGUY"'s instructions to extract the specific files into another folder and then you can finally open the game with ScumVM. If you don't wanna search for his comment he says to extract the following files:

Only those, no need to extract the entire content.

It doesn't work, I open it with winzip, it shows 2 files, a ".CUE" and a ".BIN"
I can't open the BIN file with anything because it says its corryped, I don't know what the hell is with the most voted comment.

This worked great for me! Make sure to follow comments from EZE and THATGUY. For the virtual drive I used ultraISO and it worked well. It was a blast to be able to play this game again after all this time!

Very hard to get working it blew up my pc a few times and then my house fell down but other than that it was a great game and brought back tons of memories.
