I spent ages playing this little game back in the day! Loved it so much on our 386. I remember always starting the game with "aldo 1" to only have one barrel in the game to make it (too) easy. Hey I was 7 years old or something :-) If you finish the last level, you jump back to level 1 in a different color scheme

Actually gameplay-wise, this takes a lot more after the old computer game Ladder, which predates Donkey Kong. Graphically though, yeah, it's Mario. :D

Other commenters may gripe about the game being a ripoff of Donkey Kong. But at least "Aldo" didn't treat ladders like tunnels with no way out. It was a lot more playable.
